My name is Nickie Pepper (A.K.A Not a Dr Pepper). I’m 47 years old and I live in Christchurch, New Zealand.
A couple of years ago, I found out that I am a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) and that made a lot of sense for me.
Over the years, I have battled with mental health issues, such as anxiety and depression and this has played a huge part in being a chronic insomniac.
My partner and I tried for six years to have a family and this has caused a lot of heartache and soul searching. There is nothing physically wrong with either of us and the diagnosis is unexplained infertility.
This is my journey through life, finding my way and overcoming some of these hurdles.
From out of the darkness into the light.
