This month, I’ve focused on upping my daily steps.
It’s not always easy getting steps in when you have a desk bound job.
I do what I can by walking Affro before work when I’m going in the office, taking the stairs at work, and walking around the block during my three daily breaks (regardless of where I’m working).
I checked my stats, and this month, I’ve walked about an extra 1500 steps per day, which is pretty great.
Today, I walked over 10,000 steps plus rode 9km. I’m pretty pleased with that.
Sometimes, I get stuck focusing on the things I haven’t changed, and I feel like that keeps you stuck.
It’s time to practise a bit of self-acceptance and focus on future goals instead of looping back into those things I feel I haven’t progressed.
When I think about it, I have made progress in a few different areas (however small it may be). Maybe I need to find a way of tracking these things so my brain doesn’t try to trick me into thinking otherwise!
