Oh my goodness, I was so grateful to work from home today!

The weather was so poor that I had to bribe Affro to go outside to do his business.

We were very lucky, one side of our house had a small channel under the eaves that was dry, so that helped!

Some parts of Christchurch are under water, and the street we lived in 7 years ago is once again! I’ve only just started to enjoy the rain again, knowing we won’t have our property start flooding in some way.

The rain subsided for a while this evening and we took the little guy for a walk and he was extremely happy.

On the way, I found this cool leaf and took a pic. Luckily, I had my bike torch in tow.

Nature never disappoints, and it’s always a good way to literally blow out the cobwebs.
